Suspension Question
Suspension Question
Can you please look at my Camber plates in the picture. I took my car to my suspension guy to change my chamber from -3.8 to do a street setup, and since he did that the car has been pulling to the left.

Does these camber plates looked messed up or what?

who installed the plates?
if you had it installed at a shop, don't ever take your car there again.
They are not installed properly.
I didnt even think it was possible to install them like that

I installed the suspension, but that's not the way I put the camber plates in. They did a very aggressive tune on it, like I said before. And I wanted them to lower the camber from -3.8 to -1.8. As a result of that, the car keeps pulling to the left. The car has been there 6 times already. And this is the result of the last adjustment they did and the car still pulls to the left. Any suggestions aside from not the taking the car to this shop again??
OMFG!!!
If you aren't joking about this "situation" then please read on, if you are joking...Good one!
Well, First off you need to have the camber plates aligned properly. That is a major part of the problem. Once that is taken care of put everything baqck to zero on the camber plates and start fresh. Also, check to make sure that the height of you coilovers is the same on both sides. That will make you car pull to one side or the other...Good Luck!
They should give you a refund and you should find a new 'reputable' shop to fix the setup...Clearly the shop you took it to does not know what they are doing.
PS -- I see you are running an SMC kit? Are you spraying Meth or Alk and what %? Also what other mods do you have (how did you get so much tq/hp ?) ?

wow is right... hopefully this is a joke... but ur going to have some more issues than the car pulling to the left soon.... not to mention -3.8 for a street set up in the front isn't right at all...

You need to clarify this stuff. When you installed the suspension, were your camber plates angled like that? If not, then w hy did you leave the shop when you saw the plates had been turned?
As I Said Before, Yes I Put The Suspension In But He Did All In Adjustments From The Begining. The First Setup Was Supposed To Be A Street Setup, But He Put In A Very Aggressive Setup, So I Gave It A Shot, But After A Couple Of Months I Asked Put In -1.8 Camber, And That's Is When All Of The Problems Started.

So that means you installed the camber plates wrong, and it has nothing to do with the guy who did your alignment. Install them correctly, then get an alignment. I can't even see how it was possible for him to change the camber with the plates installed like that.

It's been stated many times already that your camber plates are installed incorrectly. Have you changed them yet? Probably not...
OK, here's what to do:
Step 1) Turn off computer
Step 2) Jack front of car up
Step 3) Unbolt front suspension and re-zero the camber plates.
Step 4) Reinstall the front suspension with the camber plates going left to right. NOT FRONT TO BACK, DIAGONAL, INSIDE OUT OR ANY OTHER WAY.
Step 5) Go get another alignment somewhere else.
Step 6) Come back and turn computer back on and tell us how it went.
