help..spun stud

got it removed but now I think I need to get an oversized replacement stud because the splines on the stud scrubbed the stud hole in the hub.

Do oversized studs exist??? Would it just be the shank that's oversized and not the threads?

thanks

I don't think you need an oversized replacement, just get a new stud and put it in you'll be fine.

knowing how much of a b*tch it will be to go through this again I really want to make sure this new stud doesn't spin! Thinking about putting a couple tack welds on the stud cap behind the hub.

Has anyone else had this happen? When the nut got stubborn I was sure I could twist the stud to break it and then hammer it out but it when it broke loose the whole stud slipped in the hole!
