Please do yourself a favor and skip the s-techs...they are the worst springs you can get for the Evo. If you really want springs instead of coilovers get Swifts

If you can spend $30k atleast do some research and buy some springs that actually benefit the car like swift or espelir instead of being ganster and wanting to drag your bumper everywhere

Check out WORKS. You wont be dissapointed. You can choose the stock rake with an inch drop or a more agressive 1.2 inch drop for the front.

The previous owner of my car put S-Tech's on it. The ride is really bumpy, and I suspect it's because of the springs. Where can I get the Swift springs?

The fact that you call them "lowering springs" is just awful, and the fact you consider adding springs make the car aggressive is awful, too. Look, you don't lower the car for looks - you lower the car to improve performance. If all you do is a set of springs, you are not going to improve performance. You are just going to mess up the intricacies of the stock supension, and it will not BE aggressive - it will just PRETEND to look aggressive.

I went the "lowering springs" route on a previous car and the lowering aspect was the only thing it did. It's not a performance mod IMHO if you're going to use smaller springs on OEM dampers. They aren't designed to be compressed 1"-2" without being under load. Save up and do coilovers. I just installed some KW3's and it's a whole new world compared to lowering springs and/or the stock suspension.

But the WORKS ARE designed to be dropped under load. If the guy wants to "drop" the car without any performance aspect, let 'em. His call but as many that wouldnt agree with using progressive rate springs on the EVO i laugh just as much when someone rips theyre undertray and underlip on any driveway apron or grade b/c their car is dropped like they tubbed the wheelwells....thats cool if its not a DD. Everyone has their preference. And not everyone can afford great coilovers...some of them are ridiculous in price.
