anyone ever had to change the steering wheel? Can the original wheel be fitted on many ways ( has notches) or does it only go in one way?

I have an 06 gsr and after the dealer replaced it they said the alignment is off... but I know for a fact it's not as I went in (to replace the steering wheel) straight as can be...

any help would be appreciated...
