Do you auto-x or HPDE your car, or just drive it on the street?

I would just run the stock brakes till you need pads then replace the stock pads with DS2500's or stick with the brembo pads although they are pretty dusty.

+1 on the stock setup - you'll be fine. Us road-racers only replace the rotors when we wear out the stock ones from torturous track-only pads anyways.

Upgrade your pads when you need to. Tons of threads on which to pick.

i auto-x and street drive.... my setup seems to work just fine for both

centrix cross-drilled and slotted rotors
hawk hps carbon brake pads
russells stainless steel brake lines (f and r)
DOT 4 fluid

dont have any brake issues at any time, whether in at the track or in the canyons

This setup is what I know a couple people run and have good success.

Rotors: RacingBrake slotted rotors (2pc in front if you have the $$$$...but not really needed unless hardcore road racing)
Pads: Ferodo DS-2500, good all around pads
Goodridge stainless lines
Motul fluid

Also brake air guides or some type of improved ducting does wonders. Some say to remove the splash shield but I have yet to experience doing that....yet
