Just get a crap honda civic to drive in the rain and keep the good car where it belongs when its snowing and there is salt on the road.... in the garage... when it is not salty then have fun... salf messes up your car but when the snow is unplowed and unsalted then go out and let the car do what it is supposed to

i was fortunate enough to get a good deal on a set of 5zigen wheels, so i am in the process of sanding the finish off, repainting them, and sticking my blizzacks on them. last winter i had the snow tires on my BBS's and it made me sad everytime i got them all caked with salt and crap.

hopefully by next summer i can get some nice 18's for daily driving and throw some R comps on my BBS's.

then i can bolt the BBS's outside my 18's, so i can have spinnerz yo!

Falken all-season tires did well last winter in the snow. I'm lowered on coilovers now, so probably won't be able to drive it in too much snow this year.

Kosei rims with X-Ice tires. I have used WS-50's and X-Ice snow tires, in my experience the WS50's are better for deep unplowed snow but the X-Ice are much better for Ice, Slush and dry pavement.

Are 235/50/17 lm22 blizzacks too tall for stock suspension and stock Enkei rims?

if u dont drive ure evo in the snow then u have no idea what ure missing. the car shines in every aspect and u can really understand its rally heritage.

blizzy LM 22's on stock rims are perfect for winter driving. i live in the northeast and sometimes we get snow and sometimes we dont. they feel fine in any of the conditions.

Anything for the not so wintery folks? I don't want dedicated winters since we don't get a ton of snow. I normally use all seasons. I just want to spend my money on some RS2's and skimp on the winters ...

Need a cheap winter tire ... Looking at the clearanced Falken 512's or even some Nexen N5000. Never heard of the Nexens though. Just 3 months a yr for them ...

Eh, Cooper H-Rated Snows - pretty basic snow tire. The only time this car will be driven this winter is in a fresh snow storm, than back to being parked until the salt is gone. Mounting on some junk Millies

Winter beater, FTW!
