Tire size and fender rolling??

I have searched threads and I am unsure of what a final answer is.

I have Volk LE-28n's 18 x 8.5 and I currently have Flaken Azenis 235-40-18 on them.

I want wider...but how wide can I go before I have to fender roll? Is 255-40-18 to wide....should I do 255-35-18 or 245-40-28?

Attached is a picture of my car how it sits now on the coilovers. Please give advice....cause I need tires......BAD!!!.

go with 255x35x18... You will rub in the rear with 255x40, even on stock suspension

255/35/18s and add 3mm spacers all the way around to give it a little bit more of an aggressive stance... but this will probably rub a lil in the rear..haha

I don't want it to rub. I guess I may just have to raise the coilovers a smidge to compensate.

I am running a 275/30/19 with 19x9.5's in a 30mm offset and I don't rub with front fenders rolled and rear fenders ground down. I am a little lower than you as well....

just my .02
