Another brake clearance question

Will 17x8 wheels w/ +40 offset clear Brembo's?
TIA

Ok, so I searched until I found that the factory wheel size is 17x8 w/+35 offset.
The wheels that I found, as previously mentioned, are 17x8 w/+40 offset. So does that mean I'll need 5mm wheel spacers or does that mean I'll have an extra 5mm of clearance???

The lower the number the more the rim edge sticks out from the hub face. So a +40 vs. a +38 (which is stock on the IX) will have a rim edge 2mm closer to the hub face. So you could use a 5mm spacer but you're really better off finding a wheel with a +38 - +30 offset.
