Soontobe: there will always be *******s with opinions on this forum... You gotta realize that out of the hundreds there's gonna be a few who will answer your questions... Mine wasn't lowered hardly at all or I'd post pictures of it for you, it pretty much looked stock. I survived it, you can too! Good luck on the Evo. Don't go too low, my front lip was all trashed and like I said, I wasn't even that low

I'm lowered well over 2" front and rear. Lowering certainly lowers the CG. Lowering a car even in increments of 1/4" or 1/2" certainly will make it handle better....

IF YOU MODIFY THE GEOMETRY OF THE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSIONS!

The whiteline roll center kit only seems to get you down to 1.5" lower than stock or so...If you want more, you have to customize the front spindles and play some games on the rear.

Race cars should have the suspension lowered until the tires are whacking the tops of the fender wells, but its not as simple as just lowering the car...there is a lot more involved to do it correctly.

The proof is that my 18psi stock engined evo on 255 RA1s is faster around a circuit than most 360 whp Evos on 275s.

No its not...there is alot more to it than that. Why do you think they created Roll Center correction kits and good handling cars are corner balanced...none that I have seen are slammed.
