Reduced road noise?

I'm tired of how noisy my stock Advans are since I DD my car and the noise just bugs me too much. I'm planning to keep the Advans on the stock rims for track days. Then pick up a set of 18" wheels and new tires.

What tires have ya'll run that resulted in a drop in road noise? And by how much did the road noise drop? Was it a little bit? Was it night and day difference?

Thanks everyone

Go buy a BMW lol jk..

Pretty much any directional tire is going to be noisy. Your best bet would be to go with some all-season tires with a higher treadwear and a lower speed rating. It's going to sacrifice performance a good bit but the tires should be quieter and ride better.. However, depending on what size 18" tires you're looking to run, I think you are going to be more limited on styles available than you would be in a 17"..
