Best snow tires?

I did a search and found a few things but no consensus...if price is not a factor, what is the absolute best snow tire out there for our cars? We get plenty of snow and awful driving conditions here, but the roads do get cleared so I need something that's still usable if it's moderately dry. I don't want to compromise with a tire that is more effective in the summer months though - I just want the best winter tire made. Recommendations?

Agreed LM25. But the W50 are for hard core snow. From what I've read on the an evo with W50 can't be stopped.

I used W300. Not bad in snow but I wasn't trying to push the car to the limit in snow, for me better safe than sorry. The W300's work well in the rain and in the dry though.
