In our cars when the E brake is up the red BRAKE light comes on and when it is down the light goes off.... Well my car for some reason has this light going on when I brake farily hard with the AC on, and comes on when I brake HARD with the AC off? WTH is that all about?

 

The light will come on when your low on brake fluid. That would be my first guess.

Yes, probably getting low on fluid. Usually, only low on fluid from a leak or brake pads being worn down quite a bit.

 

you need brakes...my old camry used to do the same thing when the pads were low as shat
