Technafit brake line question

I'm doing my front lines at the moment and noticed that the conical seat angle on the technas is much steeper than the angle on the hard line. They will not seal flat. Is this normal? Do I have to teflon the threads or something?

i have them. they're fine. you should probably use loctite blue. putting teflon on a car makes me squirm.
