LightWeight EVO wheels

What are the best light weight wheel brands that will fit the EVO? Im looking for 18s or 19s. Also money is an object so don't put Volk in any of your replys because they are rediculously overpriced($3600 for evo wheels!!??) Also how much can the stock wheels be sold for, $1000? $1500? Lates, GtG.

i don't know how you got that price for the volks but whatever. you might want to try SSR, Racing Hart, Velox, Enkei. honestly, with rims you get what you pay for. a good set of rims will not only be light but it will also be strong.

who the f*ck is charging you 3600...?

get ahold of ozrallyguy... you can get a set of 18's for less than 2500...

No one is going to give you 1000 for stock wheels...

The black racing ones are heavy. Dont remember by how much, but I remember they were a tad on the chubby side. Im still trying to find out if the Buddy Club P1 QF's will look good in the 28mm offset. The 28mm offset is 6.40kg while the 35mm (the one that wont fit for some damn reason) weighs in at 6.15kg which is just over 13lbs. That is in the 17x8 though... they dont make an 18x8 just an 18x9 which is ghey..

Also, your not going to find an 18" or even a godforsaken 19" rim that will be cheap and also fit the EVOs demanding offset requirements. When your buyin rims for your $30k car, why skimp on the rims?? Also: Light = Forged = 2 or 3 piece = $$$$
