High Ridgity vs. Lightweight (wheels)

Hello. I wanted to share with you an article that AME/Endless USA translated into English

regarding the wheel weight vs. wheel rigidity factor. We found it quite interesting and decided

to share with everyone interested in lightweight, 1 pc. sports wheels.

I really like the ending paragraph that talks about the cast vs forged aspects. But overall--GREAT ARTICLE. Thanks Calvin.

great info - rigidity is very important, especially when you are cramming as big a tire as you can fit in your wheel wells and clearances to fender liners and calipers are down to millimeters.

Looks like an enkei advertisement trying to get you to buy their wheels.

that can be true, but Enkei would have tested their own wheel against xyz brand wheel right?

great info! great post! Thank you for sharing!!

I wonder if the ADVAN RS is more rigid than ADVAN RGII??

I know ADVAN wheels are made by Enkei.. I hope they can put those to test in their next article.

Interesting aritcle. The only thing that where the lightweight wheels seem to have an advantage is the acceleration, but even that fades after the car is traveling a higher speeds. Are there any other tests out there that test for the same thing because it's hard to make a conclusion based on just this one article (especially on what this article says about forged vs. cast)?
