Perrin, Whiteline, Hotchkis are all popular RSB's.

Of course you want to match your RSB to your suspension and all. But a RSB and Springs is a good start. I ran this setup for 1.5 years; Swifts and a Hotchkis RSB.

It's ok if you're not ready for coilovers, but doing JUST an RSB will not improve your handling. Consider a nice set of springs first as well as some bushings and a roll center kit.

Go with good springs like Swift, Robispec, Espelir GT, Works, GTWorx, etc. Hotchkis is nothing special.

Check a few other threads for the recommended bushing kits - they are recommended over and over on threads like these. Mine are from Works, but they came as part of my whole coilover race setup.

all springs drop the height a little. if i get coilovers and set the height the same as stock, and then get a RSB, will that improve my handling? i assume the coilovers are stiffer so that alone would add better handling. is that true?

I have orderd the perrin rear anti roll bar kit that comes with drop links and stout mounts. I have heard that these are probably the best you can buy from various people. I would suggest changing your bushes also as this will work well to greatly improve the handling your car. with these two things done you will be able to fully appreciate how good your coilovers really are. I will let you know how much of a difference this makes when i get mine fitted

a rear sway bar does wonders for handling!!!! i've been runnin Muellerized stage 1 for a year and it is night and day compared to stock... 25mm adjustable sway set to the stiffest setting, rear trailing arm bushings, and a 2.2 neg camber up front, .8 neg on the back... i would never get springs as they are only for appearance and do NOT make ur car handle better

ya my buddy got springs, and that thing understeered worst than stock... just a sway bar and alignment eliminates 90% of your understeer.... Get coils, and it shouldn't understeer at all if ur driving it right

Some springs suck. But not all of them. Don't lump them all together in the same category. Some springs have some actual engineering and design behind them besides "lets drop the car this much."

Not all springs are known to do this, improperly setup coilovers can also cause a lot of understeer.
