Aggressive Street Pads

Okay here's my deal. I want an aggressive pads for the street. So much, so that ill sacrifice rotor wear to get what i want. My front pad is the 97 compound Performance Friction, and I need a rear pad to compliment it. The front rotors are Performance Friction, and the back rotors are Stoptech, dimpled and slotted consecutively. I would have purchased the rear 97's but they seem to be allusive at best, special order... Please don't preach about, why are you blah, blah, blah, you don't need it blah, blah, blah. The fact is I hate the stock set-up and I've driven on Ferrodo 2500s and those are just okay. I also realize they will not bite until they heat up a little, and the bedding in will be critical. Thank you.

Best street pad I've ever had was stock.

If you want more than stock go with Carbotech XP10 or XP12.

Have always used the Hawk HPS for an aggressive street pad with great luck.

I'd say try DS 3000's but they may not be up to temp for street driving.

Pagid Blue. Tarmac Rally pad....they may make some noise, especially when it's cold out but they're hard to beat. And actually kind of gentle on the rotors.

Thanks will the Pagid Blue or the DS3000 compliment the 97 Performance Frictions ? A little more backround... When I talked to PFC at PRI last year, the rep said the 97's would work on the street because their rotors were of a harder metal. Normally on the track they suggest using the 01's for the rear, so as to achieve rear squat. Thanks again for the help.

They squeak during very light braking or when braking after backing up. It's pretty minor. In hard stopping they are quiet.

I have the Hawk HP+ pads. These are VERY aggressive pads that makes tons of noise. They definately do the trick with stopping the car.

I've got a extra set of Hawk HPS pads that I'm thinking about swapping over just for the fact of making them quiter.
