Coilover settings for the Quarter Mile

I've been wondering if dampening the rear to a softer setting would help you hook up better at the track. I have megan street coilovers and would like to know about this. since the track will be opening soon where I live.

wouldnt this be kinda the same idea as letting a little air out of your tires to help you get more trackion???

I think for the most part it will depend on your entire setup. This is one of the items you need to get 50+ passes in and just keep trying things until you get it right. Make sure to get video of your car at launch, not just time slips, so you can see exactly what its doing. If it bounces too much, you will lose traction, where as too stiff you may not be able to transfer the weight properly, and have similar traction problems.
