Brake pad replacement

I am changing my brake pads this weekend. When i do this i heard that i need to have the rotors resurfaced....is this true??? Or can i simply just put on replacement pads?

You can have them tested to see if they need to be resurfaced. Some autoparts stores will check this for you. I usually just rub my fingers on both sides of the rotor to ensure there aren't any grooves or irregularities.

I dont think the Evo rotors are "turnable", if they are out of spec or warped they should be replaced. But to answer your question, you can just put pads on without turning the rotors.

NO repeat NO do not cut them. Read this sticky and do an interweb search on the subject.
