Has anyone tried using the stock brakes from a third gen eclipse? I know the Evo Brembos swap directly on the eclipses so I see no reason why it wouldn't work the opposite way.

The Brembos will also fit on the RS/GS third gen eclipses. The GS models ran a 16 inch wheel and the RS models ran a 15 inch wheel. So you should be able to run a 15/16 inch wheel with the stock RS/GS brakes.

I have a 2000 eclipse GT and I installed a full set of Evo Brembos so I know they fit. I have also seen guys on my forums directly swap the Brembos on the RS/GS so I know they fit as well. I would assume the eclipse brakes would mount to the evo but as I have never done that I can't exaclty verify it but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

This is a pic of the brembos on my eclipse
