Help with Advan RS

Hello,

I am on the plan to buy Advan RS 17"x9.5 +35. Do you guys think I need to do some fenders rolled? I just need some confirmation from members who are using Advan RS, with the spec I am buying or 17"x9 +35.

Thank you.

Depends, if I get 17"x9, probably going for 255/45, and if 17"x9.5 going for 265/45.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I would think you would want a 255/40 tire. That is what I run on my stock rims.

I am running 245/45 tire for my stock MR BBS. I am on the plan to change to Advan RS and need some advice on the right tires to avoid fenders rolled.

I am still unclear about the answers, I want to know whether I need to roll my fenders if;

I change my stock springs with Tein/Tanabe lowering springs with Advan RS 17"x9 + 265/45 or 17"x9.5 + 255/45 tires.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Im looking to go with the Advan RS 17x9 + 29 wrapped in 255/40. The shop I spoke with said I will need to either roll my rear fenders or run negative camber. Fronts should be fine

You will need to roll the rear fenders. I have 18x9" Advan RS and needed to trim the rears. The fronts are fine..........I'm lowered on coilovers and not that low.

It's 18x9", but mine is 17". I think that should make some difference.

I installed Tein lowering springs on my car. Just waiting for the Advan RS.

Do you guys think it is a good match to use 255/45 on 17"x9?

No if you go 17 run a 255/40/17. Dont run a 45 series or 35 series on a 17. 45 will be too tall and have sloppy sidewalls. 35 would be way too short and are for 18's. 17x9+35 doesn't require fenderrolling the 9.5 advan does in the rear. Especially with those mushy springs and ultra jdm drop. If you had coilovers you might be able to get away with it but those Teins have springrates like a cadillac and will rub in the rear around corners.
