I am looking into suspension, for my '05
I have some knowledgeable friends when it comes to track and autox, but I have a simpler goal, right now, I am really into drag racing my evo, so I need something to stop all this weight transfer... its pretty bad and spins the fronts off the line.... at the same time, I really don't want it to ride like a tank on the street
I've been warned to avoid the less expensive coilovers, and get something from Robi or the like so I don't end up hurting the performance of the car overall.... but for right now this isn't something I want to put $2k into
I'm wondering just how much those swift springs would help with what I'm trying to do... I might get into other types of racing later, but right now I'm just wanting to stop the front end from lifting off the line
What do you guys think, do I need a crappy high spring rate coilover or will the springs do what I need?

I have the HKS coilovers and can't complain. The best thing to do would be to search for other threads on here. You may find your answer.
Alright, thanks for the input... I've found lots of info on coilovers and springs on here, just not as they pertain to what I'm looking for

An uncommon setup is the H&R's. I've had them on for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. Haven't gotten a chance to take it down to the track to see how they perform, but they're awesome!!!
