does this mean i need a rebuild?

I did a lot of searching before i posted this and couldn't come up with a definite conclusion.
i just took off my passenger front caliper and my outside pad looks new and the inside barely has anything left. i had my gf push on the brakes while i watched and one of the out side pistons wasn't moving on the inside. I'm assuming this is the metal on metal noise i heard the last time i drove the car.
i'm going to take all of the calipers off check them, but i'm assuming i need a seal kit. if someone could explain that would be great. the car has seen no track days and it has 55k

Sounds like the piston seized in the caliper some how... You could probably get away with a rebuild, but then again who knows? Good luck with the warranty.
