Bilstein PSS10 Arrival???

Okay last time I talked to some vendors I was told these would arrive May or June. I have been eyeballing coilovers for awhile and feel Ohlins are just too much right now. These PSS10 look appealing and have been out for the M3 and Porsches for awhile now.

At the pricepoint of $1700 these I think should be pretty well. So any vendors have an idea when they will be here. I heard rumors they have been postponed and I sure hope that wasn't true.

I am between Robispec KW3's, Ohlin DFV, and Bilstein PSS10. With the bilstein being the cheapest of the bunch I would really like to get a set in the coming months...(hint hint any vendors expecting new shipments )

Not yet. What I understand is that Bilstein won't import any Bilstein PSS10 until all the EVO Bilstein PSS9s are sold.

Either way, the PSS9s are a deal right now. The PSS10s will be better, but i don't know if its worth the likely 8 month (at least) wait for them.

ASTs are great solution at around 2000 mcdonald's double cheeseburgers.

Yeah we only show the 9's as well. They run $1853, shipping $25-30 depending on the zip. Don't have any in stock now, prob take a few weeks.

Just to bring this back for a bit...the wait you assume is about 8 months? There is no technical release date or month. Also is their any word what the differences will be on the PSS10?

As far as the PSS9 the spring rates are 430F and 460R correct? What can they affectively handle...maybe 500F and 560R? Does Bilstein carry different springs to fit this application? I want the best ride quality I can get but not sure if the PSS9 may be too soft for when I autoX or do a HPDE every now and then.

I assume since the PSS9 are basically about over with they are being priced quite well. PM me a price for them and also how much it would cost for different springs possibly.

Just wanted to bump this thread again. Any data on the PSS10 compared to PSS9 or expected arrival? I would hate to buy PSS9 and find the new ones come out two months later.

I believe that the PSS10's are available for other platforms.

Here is some information from Tirerack

Yes I know Audi, VW, BMW, Porsche, etc have been out for months. WTF is taking Bilstein so long to release them for Evo's . As many PSS9 sets they sold for Evo's you would think they would have the 10's out asap. Seeing as PSS9's are going up in price I sure as hell not going to pay for something that will be replaced in 4 months. They should atleast have an ETA on them or else I will be purchasing another brand very shortly....

I have also heard that Bilstein will not release the PSS10's until the last shipment of PSS9's are gone. Supposedly there was a mistake and an extra batch of PSS9's were produced.

From what I have read over on the other camps a tad better valving and better adjustability. Springrates may change a tad I am not sure on that. I really don't know what the holdup is...hell even 350Z have got them and 90% of them dont even buy coilovers. If they dont have them by Feb. I am going with KW's..tired of waiting on Bilstein
