Brake fluid

I bought some RBF600 from a local store and it's a bit darker than the stuff I got from Evobrakes. It's about the color of apple juice vs. the clear lemonade like stuff from Evobrakes. The bottles were sealed and not obviously tampered with. The bottles were identical (I don't know if there's different types of RBF600). What's the deal? Is it bad fluid? Can brake fluid go bad sitting on the shelf? Thanks.

With the hygroscopic nature of that fluid, I'd say it's probably been sitting there quite a while. For fluids sold in plastic bottles, freshness counts.
