WORK vs. Enkei

I'm having trouble making a decision on which wheels to get. The car will split time between track work and weekend driver status. This is not a daily driver so I'm not looking for big baller rims, yo. I've narrowed my decision down to these two wheels. The old Rotas must go! In the left corner we have a set of gunmetal WORK Emotion CR Kai in 18x9.5, +20 offset, weighing in at 23lbs each...

In the right corner we have a set of gunmetal Enkei RCT4 in 18x9.5, +30 offset, weighing in at 19lbs each...

if style isn't a part of it, the lighter one of course...

Love the style of CR, but weight is important
If you want to have them only for normal riding it up to you (I would buy CR)
if for some sport thing lighter wheel all the way

Both are great wheels but I would go with the +20 Emotions I think it's the better offset for the Evo. Now if weight is a concern I would go with the Enkei's but IMO they don't look as good.

the works looks too much like stock 9 rims imo. The +20 offset is going to be trouble for your rear fenders.

if it was *my* money, i would go with the enkei's.

but, i am kind of biased.

borrowed them off a friend for a few autoX events. i'm a sucker for white, and i love the multi spokes. the over all lightness of the wheels is excellent too.

The enkei's are tough to beat, plus spokes look sexy on an evo.

Wheels: Work Emotions 18 x 8.5 with 20 offset (concave face).
Tires: Falken Azenis RT615's 235/40/18
Suspension: Hotchkis springs on stock KYB's
Fitment: Rear Fenders are trimmed and repainted. No Spacers at all.
Centercaps: On the way, have to make something.

I vote for Enkei

Because not only these wheels are new, they are specifically R&D for COMPETITION use.

Don't get me wrong, I love WORK wheels (I have a set of CR-Kais on my s14) but the CR-Kai is a bit outdated.. plus people will mistaken them as ROTA
