i ran the mr specific springs last summer and it apparently wore out my front driver's side strut in i'd say roughly 3k miles. never tracked or ran hard either. just daily driving on typical michigan roads. so i'd say no especially on the bilstiens. looks like they just lessened the drop by a few fractions of an inch.

did they just change the rates, or change the ride height also? either way, unless they made the drop a lot less conservative, even higher rates won't change the fact that they are too low, which is still bad anyway.

does anyone know if s-techs would work any better with some KYB shocks, or any other performance shocks?

i already bought em but haven't installed them yet. i do like the drop on them from looking @ everyone else's, that's why i ask.

The spring rates and ride height are poor. No shock is going to change that.

Agree with all things said here. They are too low and too soft. They will kill any strut.

Sell them and get a proper spring - Swifts, GTWorx.

+1 get swift springs if you are going aftermarket.

when I bought my car used it had s-techs on it and I took them off (mainly because of the ride height). When you hold an s-tech vs. a stock spring, you can easily tell they are softer.

s-techs 4tl

you will be on or very close to the bump stops AT REST with s-techs.

good for style, worse then stock for everything else.

Almost 25k daily-driven miles on my S.Techs with no complaints (stock GSR KYB shocks). The auto-x trophy didn't hurt either
