will rims from a 1997 gsx fit a evo 8?

they will bolt up but i feel the caliper will not clear, it's worth a shot. Besides the rims are WAYYYYYYYYYY to small, 6.5 inch is too small for an evo

The offset of the wheel is about 10mm off for the GSX wheel. It will more than likely hit the calipers on the EVO. Real slight difference in centerbore size as well.
