Brake light comming on when braking?

Ive noticed lately that when under somewhat of heavy braking that my brake light comes on... What does this mean? Is it a malfunction or is it like a brake sensor telling me I need to replace my brakes?

Thanks
Dan

Check your brakes yes but it's most likely the fluid level low which is an indicator that the pads need to be replaced.

Whats a good set to go with? I dont want anything thats going to squeak, but I want some bite to it, some good ol stopping power!

Also, what slotted rotors would be good to replace the stock ones?

Unless you do lapping days or race your car on a road course keep the stock rotors they're fine don't even cut them unless they are really grooved. As for pads that won't squeak, search, there are lots of threads on that.
