How will the car handle if???

I have a set of KW 3 coilovers and a rear sway bar. What woul happen if Bound adjustment on al the 4 shocks were completely off? Lets say that the adjustment screw was 1 turn in at the right front an 3 at the right rear and so on. How would the car feel under normal use conditions? Like on irregular surfaces and small bumps? How about on the track?

Daily driving, it'd handle more or less the same. In fact I'd wager that if someone snuck into your car at night and messed up all your adjustments, and you got up to drive it the next day you would notice a difference at all. Unequal damping adjustments won't be very noticeable in single-wheel bump situations, and you won't be pushing the car very hard through corners during daily driving.

At the track, depending on the valving and how "off" the adjustments are, you'd notice different behavior in cornering in the track. Unequal adjustments in rebound adjustments would result in an imbalance of the car during corner entry and exit, as load will shift between the LF/RR and RF/LR at different rates. Generally, front rebound adjustments have the largest noticeable effect during corner exit, while rear rebound affects corner entry.

Oval-track racers often have "staggered" damping settings (and other suspension settings) to bias behavior in a certain direction under certain conditions that you'd see on an oval track.

The truth is that my car is doing strange things. If I am doing 30 mph at a constant rate it will suddenly wobble from the rear end if I go over an irregular surface. It is totally annoying. As if something broke on the rear end. Tomorrow I will check the car on a ramp to make sure nothing is broken or out of place.

What makes you think that the damper adjustments are to blame? Do you have them all set to the same setting? Are there any out-of-the-ordinary noises coming from the rear? How does the car on the track?
