Flexing calipers

I am posting this to find if anyone has a similar problem. My two piece front rotors are wearing quickly close to the hub on the outside. Another evo I race against is having similar wear. We both use Hawk DTC70 pads in front. I talked to Hawk and they cautioned that my Brembo calipers are flexing from too many heat cycles. I asked them if switching to Stop Tech's would be better, but they said the same condition may happen with enough use. I ran them for years without any brake ducting. I bought new rotors and pads and had a custom duct system made that uses twin 2" hoses to a hat that forces air into the center and exits out the outer vanes. the backing plates was utilized to keep the air from going anywhere but inside the rotor to vent out through the vanes. The problem now seems to exist but not as bad. I have not used temperature tape to measure heat on the caliper and rotor. That will be my next step. Is the temperature different between the outside and inside of the rotor or is the caliper flexing or both? Any shared thoughts would be appreciated.. Dave Fazzino
