18" upgrade question

I just got some 18' Enkeis that had 2 Pirelli tires and 2 Kumho tires on them. The Pirelli's needed to be replaced badly and the Kumho's were recently replaced and are like-new. I was going to get 2 Kumho's to replace the Pirelli's. The problem is, my stock tires are 235/45/18 and the tires on the new wheels are 225/40/18. It seems a lot smaller. Another issue I'm having is the Kumho's are Ecsta AST's which are H-rated so that blows my ***** off as well. Any rec.?

I'd start over with a new set of fresh shoes in the correct size. That 225 is too small, should be running a 235/40-18 for best results. Might be able to go wider depending on how wide the wheel is.

You know Rich, I wish I knew. They were given to me and they are a set of universal rims. As far as I saw, they don't have any proportions on the rim itself. I will just play it safe with the 235/40/18. Where do most of you purchase tires online?

Awesome! I will be ordering soon from them. The only thing I am somewhat worried about is if the rims will clear the brembo's. Thanks for the responses.
