you have to take e-brake assembly apart, remove dust shield and then rotate hub to a location where it allows clearance to remove and replace stud. good luck.

ok e-brake is apart but i cannot get the dust shield off because it is tac welded on. i tried removing the 5 bolts behind the hub and the big gold center bolt with all of them off it still wont budge or pop off. i will go take another picture to show what i mean

Just remove the hub assembly. You already have the axle nut off. It's 4 bolts that hold the hub assy to the upright. No playing with the ebrake or anything.

i did 10mm spacers on my X last week. Had a similar problem with the rear, but with the 4 bolts undone on the back of the hub the hub could slide out slightly and we could get the studs in there. Took a little work but it worked, I know the ARP ones are pretty long, so you might have to completely remove the hub somehow. GL.

Try using a puller. It should have a conical nose that presses inward on the axle and arms that pull on the hub. That has worked for me in the past.

This is the type of tool you need.

I have no idea how much force you can apply until it damages the cv joint/axle. Mine have never required a whole lot. The center piece will push against a chamfered hole in the end of the axle so the nut being present is not necessary. You'll probably have to trim the ends on the pullers to fit between the ebrake pads and the hub.

You need a slide hammer type puller that attaches to the studs but the studs are out so put three back in and pull the wheel hub.
From the manual;
Use special tools MB990244 (MB990241), MB991354 and
MB990211 to pull out the rear wheel hub from the knuckle.
