BBS > Pothole

I must give a thumbs up to BBS for making some decent wheels strengthwise. I was coming home on the highway cruising at 65 mph when I saw something in the road but by then it was too late. Ran right over the middle of this crater and the sound alone scared the life out of me. To give you an idea of how hard I hit this thing, I luckily caught my radar after it lost contact with the windshield via the suction clip. I'm still shocked that the tire didn't just blow out along with the strut possibly. Everything seemed fine after so I'm 1 happy ****. BTW, jersey roads SUCK

Your wheel balancing guy might not think you are so lucky... I dont want to rain on your parade, but unless you are unbelievably lucky, you likely bent the rim on that one. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you that the 17" forged rims held up to the hit.

Yeah if it was that bad. You might want to take the wheel in and get it checked out to be safe.

government should pay for the repair in a perfect world. too bad they feel like they can neglect roads even though they take our taxes and claim no responsibility for any damages.

Things happen... but it would be really nice if they took our taxes under the pretense that they are partially going towards roads, and actually used the tax for that...
