Will these wheel specs work on EVO???

Hey all,
question for anyone who has the answer, Neal??

17x8 5:114 with a 30mm offset. I want to use the stock Advans this should work right??? Will I have to get different wheel bolts/lugs??

After all this will the Tein spring kit work? 2in drop in front and 9/10 in drop in rear.

Thanks

It will totally depend upon the spoke design of the wheel. The main clearance problem is the Brembo caliper, so you need a rim with a design that places the spokes along the face of the rim, or even curves out from the wheel face. Many wheel designs with similiar offset to the stock Enkeis simply will not clear the calipers.

With a 30mm offset, that will push the wheel 8mm further out toward the fender of the vehicle than stock. It does seem a bit low of an offset with that width. However, 2Cool is correct, a lot depends on the style of the wheel. If you have a fitment issue it will be with the inner part of the fender.

I wouldn't count on the stock lugs working a 100%. A lot of the time aftermarket wheels may have a different seat for the lugs, or a totally different style lug all together like tuner lugs. I would ask the person you a purchasing the wheels from if lugs are included.
