need some help.... can this/has this been done

I currently own a set of swift springs on my IX and i love the way it rides but i wish the front sat at the hieght of the Tein's.. so can you replace the front swift springs with the teins s-tech springs? The other reason i ask this is due to the fact that i love the way the rear sits and dont want to swap those out. But by not swapping those out will this cause the balance of the car to be all out of wack and track horribly? i read up on the spring rate thread but left it scratching my head a lil... could you please fill me in on whether or not this is a good idea or just scrap it entirely.. thank you for you time.

Do not mix and match springs. If you want the ride height of the S.Techs you're best just getting them.

If you sit the car too low you'll ride on the bumpstops and bottom out the shock whenever you hit a bump. Bottoming out the shock = blown shocks after a little while. Teins sit the car too low.

Scrap that idea.

Do not mess with it. You will hurt performance if you make that change. S-techs are too low and too soft for the front struts.

You might want to look into Espelir Active GT Springs. I went with them after seeing reccomendations by Robi from Robispecs that they work well with MR Bilsteins or GSR KYBs. The Teins are probly the worst springs to get for your car. If you want the lowered look, the Espelir drops 1.7" which is close to the Tein's 1.9" (though the Teins sags and sags so they lower the car much more than the advertised 1.9" which is...bad!) Here's my review on the Espelir: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...iews-pics.html

They sit low than swifts by about 1/2" and looks much better while also increase handling capabilities!
