Lowering Springs question

I am considering lowering springs, I see that H&R has some but they drop 1.4, 1.3 rear it seems a bit much Ralliart has some but only drops .5 would I run into problems with 18x9 245/40 wheel set up with the H&R and has anyone done only a spring drop? I have already done a search and nothing came up that would help me.

I have Eibach and like it very much. My car dropped about 1 inch. I noticed better handling too. The only catch is I have to be careful to go slower when existing deep drive way.

w/ lowering springs, you might need to roll the fenders (especially the rear fenders) a little bit since you are using 18x9 w/ proper offset.

Or go JDM style, 18x9 or 9.5 in front and 18x8.5 in the rear w/ 245/40/18 tires.

Even though the tire size is the same, a difference in width (espeically an inch) will affect tire height due to the positioning of the sidewall in comparison. This will affect the outside diameter of the tire and ultimately that is not good for the center diff.
