Question Help with wheel spacer!

Well I brought my car into wheelworks to get new Tires. I have 15mm wheel spacer adapters on. One of the studs on the spacer is now striped with the lug nut on. The installer over tightend it with his air tool.

Other than drilling it out. What are my other options? Anyone ever had this problem? Seems like the stud is striped where it was pressed in.

they should solve this problem for free if they are the ones who striped it.

Talk to the manager but if you really don't want to deal with them there are ways to re-thread it but I'm not 100% on that..

You can try using an impact gun to get it off. Most likely it will have to be drilled out. Then you need a new stud and lug nut.

Contact the adaptor mfg for a new stud and order the lugnut. DO NOT try and rethread a wheel stud. It's a critical component and they only cost a couple $$.
