Just curious, how long did the origional brake pads last?

 

i'm gonna quasi thread hijack and open this up to regular lancer guys too. i just crossed 22k miles, and i think my pads are starting to hiss a wee bit. not quite sure if they need to be replaced yet, but i guess i'll find out sooner or later.

 

I got about 7000 miles out of mine before I got the "shakes". The dealership replaced pads and turned the rotors under warranty as a "one time courtesy", and now they're working great again. I hope they last longer than 7000 miles this time.

 

Does anyone on here know how to spell? My BRAKES in terms of pads only survived 2,300 miles. After three quarters of a day at the track they glazed up completely and had to be replaced. Since then I've found they're good for two track days if you bed them in properly. Which I didn't with my first set of pads.
