i recently installed my HKS hipermax coilovers and noticed that the front isnt that much lowered, im just wondering if ichange to 18's will it help cover up some space between the fender and tires?

If you use the correct 18" size it will have the same outside diameter as the oe tires. So, you won't close the wheel gap any more than it already is. Only way to properly close fender gap is by dropping the car. If you use an oversized tire diameter that can cause rubbing issues under load/going around corners.
