Question (Rubbing RE01R)

I am running 18x9.5 Enkei NT03+M +27 with 255/35/18 potenza reo1r's and the tires are starting to rub in the back when I am cornering hard.

I know about fender rolling but the tires are wider than the wheel well so I don't think that would help anyways.

What about some stiff (stock height) springs, or camber the rear?

Thanks guys

Yeah with a +27 offset you may need to run a little more camber. Your best bet is try camber and fender rolling. When you roll the rear it actually pulls the fender a little also due to the amount of pressure applied when rolling. What kind of camber are you running? I wouldnt run anymore than about -1.2 in the rear for a street driven Evo.

Yeah sounds like a wheel/suspension issue more than tire size.

Once fenders are rolled, you will be able to run up to 275's in the rear no problem with the NT03's.

We ran 265/35/18 ADVAN A048's last year with the NT03's for one event.. at -2.5 degrees of camber in the rear. plenty of room.
The little lip on the rear fender is like 10mm. roll it and you got yourself just that much more of clearance.

I run a similar setup 18x9.5 +28 and 255/35/18, lowered on Swift springs. Rolled my rear fenders and put -1.2 degrees of camber, problem solved.
No work should be required for the front fenders.

FYI, the max camber you can set the stock suspension is -2.
