whats up guys i purchased me evo 2 months ago. Before i bought my evo i had an rsx with drag xx 006 rims. My brother does powder coating so he is willing to paint the lip on the rim the same color as my car. I tried it on and they didnt clear the front brake. My options are to get spacers and extend my lugs or buy another rim with a lip that would fit my evo 8. I have never used spacers nor extended wheel lugs so i dont know how safe its going to be. I was hoping there were some members on here that used spacers and lug extensions and found it to be safe or have an evo rim with a lip that bolts directly on. All of your advice is appreciated thanks. Also i live in New york if you guys know of a good local shop that i can trust with a job like this to come out clean please let me know.

 

I forgot to mention the rims are 18's with the smallets lip drag xxr offers im not sure the exact size its something like 18x8.5 i have no idea what type of spacer i would need.
