alright so, ive been trying to read threads but dunno what to do for suspension.
heres the situation..
so currently I am running on stock setup except i have Megan Racing Street Coilovers. Now i just bought Advan RS wheels and will be running 255/35/18 Nitto Invo tires, just havent bought the tires yet, waiting for rocks to be swept up.
I have currently stock rims w/ all seasons. I dont really track or autocross but i've noticed that w/ the coilovers i still get some sway w/ the car and if i dampen the front too much I get a bit of bump steer. I havent adjusted the back dampening at all. Now i will mention that i have dropped my car. I like to design my cars to have both looks and performance. That said I was told that lowering an Evo does hinder the handling portion of it!
So what to do to compensate for this issue I am having!?
- I have been told to get sway bars but I am a little worried when it comes to dramatic oversteer cause I am a bit of a novice when it comes to that stuff, im not gonna lie! Im trying to learn though! Honestly though, w/ bigger sway bars, how easy is it to kick out the *** end? What if i just got a bigger front one!?
- I was told Whiteline Roll Center Adjustment Kit/ Bump steer kit would be a good fix? your thoughts? I was told this is only good if i auto cross... dont think thats entirely true.
- Ive been told once i get my new tires on and an alignment, it'll improve, some ppl said that tires only help a bit.
So im looking for some advice and much thanks in advance... kinda frustrating lol!
I understand that even though i dont track or autocross some things maybe overkill, but lemme know what u think n e ways cause it doesnt mean in the future i wouldnt wanna try it! Just b/c I lowered my car doesnt mean i wanna hinder the performance , ya know!?

you're probably lowered too much
the white line roll center kit will (at least for me) reduce "roll" when installed. You could probably do yourself a favor and increase the ride height a bit.(every little bit helps when you're really lowered)
adding sway bars would depend on what you want and your spring rates.
if you're in the 400-600 lb range i'd say sway bars would help. if much higher in the 600-800 or higher range it might not be beneficial and might cause problems with loss of traction.
All you mentioned was that you still had "sway"
I'd say roll center kit is absolutely worth it. Night and day difference for me.
I'm on ohlins r/t coilover.
I'm not a guru on this, i'm learning like everyone else, this is what i've read here.
fwiw i'm switching my suspension to gtworx springs and bilstein hd with swift sways and works camber plates. My priorties have changed and i'm not tracking the car as much as i would like so a more comfortable suspension setup is what i'm going for.
