my boss just got a set today on his mustang (flame away, its not my car, lol)
talked to him after the drive home, so far so good, ill try to remember to ask him again in a couple weeks after some rain, etc and see what he thinks then, but look like pretty good tires.

thanks, im asking because this tire is an option for a 245/45/17 and tire rack ratings are excellent #1 for its category in performance for both wet and dry traction

I run 295 on the rear of my supra, They are pretty good. I like them. I only have about 3kmiles on them though and I don't drive my car in rain. The only time I was on damp pavment I had zero traction untill 3 or 4th gear but that is a a BPU supra so the Evo would do a little better lol

Other than that the tires hold my power level just fine. I dont loose traction unless the pavment is cold. Even if I roll onto first gear it seems to hold down pretty well with minimul tire spin.

Yeah very popular with the Vette crowd. Similar to the older B-Stone 750 actually. Top performer in the ultra high perf summer class. Tested top in wet traction on the track and held it's own in dry as well. It's no OE Yoko but a great dd summer tire.

my boss has had them on the mustang for a bit now, and has absolutely loved them. i have done some research on other forums about them, and a few said they weren't that good for autocross cuz they dont get hot enough until a couple of runs. but for dd, they sound great and higher speeds, go for it. im probably going to go with the dunlop star specs myself (have cheap wanli tires on the car now and are noisy as hell, and dont do well at all in autocross)
