Thoughts on Motive Powerbleeder?
I'm interested in buying the Motive Power bleeder to make my life a bit easier. Before I do, however, I'd like to hear feedback from some of the users out there, specifically owners who frequently track their cars. I ask because I remember reading some threads that warned of increased moisture in the lines when using this system. One thread even linked to some kind of electric vacuum system that would avoid this problem. Thoughts?
I've used a motive bleeder on my personal Evo that saw the track almost every other month.
Works great and the helped the girlfriend to stop getting pissed off at me yelling "ok push!" at 11pm the night before track events.

I just got one and was quite pleased. Spilled some fluid, but this was on an acura with the generic fit cap. The evo should be cake with the attachment, I bought one of those too.
Just like Bryan I really needed to get away from my wife doing the pedal pushing.

There are instructions to clear the MC prior to releasing pressure without making a mess. It basically consists of turning the tank on its side so no new fluid goes into the MC. You continue to bleed out of the final caliper (typically closest to the MC). Once the level drops to max in the MC close the bleeder screw and release pressure. Pretty simple and effective.

I've got it - works just fine. Hardest part is getting the cap on there securely before you start as it fits reallly tight.
