Hi --I'm a brand new 03 EVO owner. Do people change out the stock tires for winter driving ? The "initiation" video mentioned that. If so, is it best to bite the bullet and buy 4 new wheels or just change out the tires ? What is a good winter tire ?

unless you live in the carabian you MUST change out your tires these advans are horible when its cold...

as for tires to buy.. well it realy depends on the conditions that you live in, me? i gotta buy 4 studded tires, but im in alaska

 

check out the wheel tire section. very helpful. search under that section too - it helped me decide on a winter wheel (continental extreme contact all-season)
