my brother has a megan coilover system in his 06 civic. They were great brand new but now they sound like crap. they squeek and rattle everytime the springs compress or hits a bump. I believe theres a defect on the spring hats.

Jack up the car and isolate the noise!

I've had two different sets and I know many folks with them as well.... no noise.

Well.... first you need to know what corner its coming from .... then work that corner to find the noise. It can only be a couple of things and whatever it is should be obvious.

i havnt had any issues with these. had them on a acura tl, 240sx and a rx7 before, sounds like you left something loose or did something wrong.

Make sure the big nut on the top is tight. I know of a few people (myself included) with these or similar coilovers who have had that nut come loose and it will make a clunking sound over every bump.
