How to fix this?

So went to the local evo meet today, (ill post pics a little later on tonight) and spyed this eyesoar...

i tried to unsrew it out, because i didnt know how long the screw was, and it started hissing...so i screwed it back in and it stopped lol. Anyway the reason i am posting this is just wondering the best way to fix the problem. Im thinking of taking it to a place tomorrow and seeing if they can patch it on the inside, however people are telling me that its to far over (or too close to the sidewall) to be able to reapir.

anyway, suggestions and price estimates?? i really dont wanna buy a new goodyear eagle F1 nice tires though

If it's within an inch for the sidewall they wont plug it you need a new tire.

Thats pretty close. Lol. You could fix it yourself but be careful. A plug kit will work. Take it to tire shop & see what they say

I've patched tires at locations that were even worse than that, I think it depends on the owner really, the dealership that I worked at had rules like not patchin the holes within a certain limit,

Just take it to a tire shop and get it plugged. Chains are more strict as far as patching goes so you might be better off at a small local place where cash talks

Plug it at a tire shop. Usually free if you are a frequent customer at the place you take it to.

Discount tire will do it for free as long as its not to close to the sidewall...but I think yours is pushing it.
