drop24 - wrong. I am running GSR springs (both Sport and Spec Rs are GSR). And those photo are different perspectives - car looks exactly the same as it did on the Sport versions. Furthermore, the MR and GSR Swift versions are all the same drop. Only difference is the rate starting rate on the MR versions.
OE MR springs ARE NOT different that the GSR springs. Same rate, same part number, same part.
Rake does not increase or shift the weight like that. Read the thread "Everything You Wanted to Know About Rake"
I was looking for a Bilstein because UPS LOST one of mine that I was having custom valved to be at the top of the SCCA game for this setup. Fedex ended up finding it. So I have an extra now.
So please, before you go and post all these misconceptions, read a bit more into my threads. I am very clear on what I am running - for all to copy if they wish.

The last thing I want to do is spread bad info. I just noticed this person posted a thread and had the same problem I had when I ran Bilsteins. The back end of the car was jacked way up in the air.
When the MR came out the Mitsubishi press releases claimed new springs by Eibach. Perhaps they are the exact same spring as the GSR though. Maybe it's the different perch position on the Bilsteins that cause so many of us to have odd stances with these shocks.

The X MR has new springs not the CT9A MR.
I think its more an install error. And I have not seen MRs with proper springs look any different than the KYB with springs.

Here's one of the Mitsu links that says the MR IX has Eibachs:

Maybe only the JDM MR's got the different springs though.

11secMR's MR with Hotchkis springs on Bilsteins 245/40/18:

"hotckis springs thats it. im actually unhappy with the ride height. my friend has the same springs and his car sit atleast and inch lower in the back. we think it is bc of the mr billstiens" - 11secMR
JohnEB's GSR with Hotchkis springs on KYB's 245/40/18:

Slammed in the rear.

Swift Sports on Bilstein HD:

Swift Spec Rs on Bilstein HD (right after installing them):

I have no pics on KYBs, but they look the same.

Part numbers for front springs (USDM from CAPS - thanks otter):
MR MN101464
GSR MN101464
Odd twist, all dig this up more - note in file: (Spring, FR susp coil white/red)
RS: MR554822
Rear:
MR MN101517
GSR MN101517
RS MR554944 (NIF: white/blue spring)
-----
And if your logic was true - stock MRs and GSRs would look totally different ride height wise. Which, we know is false.

Struts and shocks will have absolutly NOOO effect on ride height what so ever. They're only there to control the springs. The springs are the only thing that control ride height on Evo's.
If you take a brand new shock out of the box, with no spring on it, you should (unless you're a little girl) be able to fully compress the shock slowly by hand. A shock alone is not going to have the stiffness to control ride height.

Here's what your Swifts look like on a GSR:

Come on, that's the same drop in the rear?

After some searching I was really surprised how many people have had this same problem like I did. This really leads me to believe there is some difference in spring perch position in the rear. I think no amount of pictures are going to change your mind though so I won't continue the discussion. Happy Canada day!

*sigh*
They are the same. Perception and photo points make a difference. With hundreds of Swifts sold and used on these cars, your argument is stale. As I have stated, if you think the MR perches are different then the cars (MR and GSR) would look different - which they don't. I have already disproved the part numbers - so springs are exactly the same. Perches are too.
