street setup (MR Bilstein / Swift R) alignment?
street setup (MR Bilstein / Swift R) alignment?
This is going on an '04 VIII.
I'm getting some MR Bilsteins off of an '05. I'm thinking about ordering Swift Spec R springs to go with them. I'm also thinking -1.5/-1.0 camber front/rear, 0/0 toe and ?/? caster. I've read people using anywhere from max positive to max negative caster
What are good street recommendations? No track days, no auto-x, occasional 1/4 mile.
Also, I'll need MR Swift springs, correct? ...b/c they're going on MR Bilstsein pirches
Thanks,
Charles

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Caster cannot be adjusted on this car. Its preset. Other numbers look good. I would use the -1 camber bolt selection up front. That should give you a true camber of -1.4 to -1.7.
Yep, MR versions, has nothing to do with the perches. The rear spring rates are start off at a slightly lower rate for the MR Bilstein valving. Height wise they are exactly the same as the GSR version.
